Embark on a transformative two-day journey into radical imagination, discovering tools and methods that cultivate bold visions for liberatory futures and new worlds. This intensive, interactive workshop guides participants through personal mapping exercises, collective visioning sessions, and collaborative worldbuilding practices that center care, liberation, and lived experience.

Together, we will co-create radical visions for justice-centered futures, exploring alternative ways of being and doing that challenge current systems and pave the way for the world we're birthing together.

DAY 1: SATURDAY (April 11th from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM EST)

○ Map personal connections to inherited wisdom, resistance, and radical possibilities ○ Craft collective visions for liberatory futures through participatory storytelling and letter writing ○ Engage in deep visioning exercises that center care, liberation, and lived experience ○ Activities: Personal Mapping Exercise, Collective Visioning, Letter to the Future

DAY 2: SUNDAY (April 12th from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM EST)

○ Identify and map the skills, knowledge, capacities, and relationships needed for building the new world ○ Co-create practical frameworks for implementing radical visions in everyday practice ○ Develop personal commitments to contributing to the liberation futures we imagine together. ○ Activities: Skills Audit, Collective Ideation, Commitment Circle

Real-World Project

Learners will create their own blueprint for a new world, including their visions for the future and personal commitments that allow them to contribute to collective liberation.

Hanieh Khosroshahi

Independent Design Consultant

Hanieh (she/her), is an independent design consultant, researcher, educator, and community organizer working in pursuit of people and the planet. Born in Iran and raised in Tkaronto on Turtle Island, her work is grounded in a commitment to gender equality, social justice, and collective liberation. She is co-founder of Thousand&One, a global feminist community supporting Women of Colour to thrive personally and professionally, and holds an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of York, UK.
